My Story

About Brittany

A Heart for Mission

From a young age, I felt drawn to something greater than myself. Growing up in Texas, my faith was always a part of my life, but it wasn't until college that I experienced a profound conversion that changed everything. Encountering Christ in the Eucharist transformed my heart and set me on a path I never expected.

After discerning my vocation, I felt a clear call to missionary life. Not in a faraway land, but right here in our own community. I believe that the mission field is wherever God plants you, and for me, that's Grapevine, Texas. Every day, I encounter people hungry for meaning, for connection, for the love that only God can provide.

My missionary work takes many forms: leading small faith groups, serving at local food banks, visiting the homebound, mentoring young women, and simply being a joyful presence in the lives of those around me. Each encounter is an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ.

What Guides Me

Faith

Everything begins and ends with faith. My relationship with Christ through the sacraments, Scripture, and prayer is the source of all that I do.

Humility

True service means putting others first. I strive to approach every person and situation with the humility modeled by the Blessed Mother.

Joy

The joy of the Gospel is not a feeling but a choice. Even in suffering, I witness to the hope that Christ gives to all who trust in Him.

Recognition

St. Francis Xavier Award

Honored by FOCUS Alumni for exemplary service to the New Evangelization — reaching out to people in the workplace, community, and parish after graduating from missionary life.
